Rivian is the automobile market’s first electric adventure vehicle. The brand, especially the truck, focuses on an environment-conscious, adventurous, and active audience which frequents the outdoors. This project aims to build a car UI system for Rivian’s truck model, R1T.

In addition to aligning with Rivian’s branding, the designed system was mindful of the following.

Recovery
Consistency

The R1T hosts 3 screens; a screen behind the steering wheel, a main dashboard screen and a back-passenger screen. In addition to the truck’s screens, companion mobile (iPhone) and watch (iWatch) apps are designed for a cohesive user experience. The UI system features are enumerated below, categorized by screen.
